You will be responsible for efficiently planning, controlling and coordinating all health issues as per the company policy in the lodge.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Entire management of the lodge clinic.
• Requisition of drugs and surgical equipment and stock control.
• Handle pre-employment medical examination and routine food handlers’ examination.
• Take responsibility for guest management when called upon
• Diagnosis, treatment and referral of cases where necessary.
• To assist patients during referrals and hospitalizations.
• To advice and discuss the choices of medical attention.
• Issuance of sick offs to staff members and liaison with Human Resource Managers/Unit Managers and Heads of Departments on the same.
• To be constantly aware of new trends in medical care and action these.
• To ensure cleanliness of all staff area, kitchens and storage facilities.
• Facilitate health education and counseling for all members of staff.
• Any other role assigned from time to time.

PERSON’S SPECIFICATION

Minimum Qualification:
A degree/ diploma in Kenya registered community health nursing or a diploma in clinical medicine from a Government or recognized medical training institution.Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Hotel industry marketing and/or sales
• Financial Acumen and strong with numbers
• Analytical ability
• Strong Computer skills
Minimum working experience: 5 Years in community health nursing.

• Assertive
• Should have a positive attitude
• Team working and good communication skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Pleasant, warm and friendly
