Job Purpose
To drive Pensions, Unit Trust and Life Business through cross-selling.
Duties & Responsibility
- Ensure
recruitment and retention of elite sales agent who meet the company
standards and are able to sell products across the different
business units.
- Ensure
that new agents get field training as part of their induction into
the company.
- Enforce
cross-sell agent’s KPIs including product and compliance
- Develop
a training program for the new agents
- Ensure
that discipline is maintained in COP training, meeting attendance
and general office discipline.
- Propose
motivational measures for retention of sales force
- Identifying
and exploiting business opportunities in the corporates that have
established occupational retirement schemes through intermediaries.
- Identifying
and exploiting business opportunities in the Sacco and SME sectors
and supporting the resultant initiatives.
- Supporting
the Regional offices through market identification and capacity
building to identify and exploit opportunities provided by the
marketers.
Business related degree or equivalent.
Professional qualifications
Minimum COP
Age/Relevant work experience
Below 35 Years
3 years in Sales/Marketing
Skills, Knowledge and competencies
Sound knowledge of Financial and Insurance Industry/Products
Proficiency in Excel/MS Office
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Excellent presentation skills
Strategic thinking with good analytical skills.
