Job Purpose
To coordinate and manage ICT Systems and operations within CIC Life Assurance Limited.
Duties & Responsibility
- To
ensure availability of Life systems at all times and proper
maintenance.
- Implementation
of fully integrated systems advising where integrations are desired
while enforcing effective controls complete with audit trail.
- Support
product innovation by availing systems to be integrated to any other
channel of marketing e.g. M-bima, SMS etc.
- Ensure
Life Assurance soft wares are licensed properly to safeguard Company
interests by maintaining appropriate number of user licenses at all
times.
- Manage
relationships with external system vendors as well as internal users
of the system.
- Ensure
appropriate ICT staffing within CIC Life Assurance Ltd.
- Collaborate
with the top Management in CIC Life Assurance Ltd. to develop
Corporate Strategies and ensure implementation of all relevant
aspects.
- Effectively
enhance utilization of ICT to improve operational efficiency and
service delivery to our customers.
Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Sciences/Maths/Management Sciences.
Professional qualifications
Database Certification; OCP
ITIL Certification
OS Certification: Linux/UNIX/Microsoft certification.
Relevant work experience
3 Years’ experience in a similar position in the financial services sector.
Skills, Knowledge and competencies
Programming skills (PLSQN preferred) in any 4th generation language
Excellent systems analytical skills.
Knowledge of current and emerging ICT trends.
Project management and implementation.
Good understanding of business processes and requirements.
