Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE: - To execute maintenance activities in Asset Care, that will increase productivity of the company’s assets according to SABCO’s engineering standards
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Maintenance controller, the successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be:-
1.Provide 1st line maintenance support to packaging equipment. Involves preventing maintenance, fault finding and corrective maintenance.
2.Execute maintenance activities to ensure maximum availability of production equipment. Maintained SHEQ standards.
3.Participating in failure investigations and root cause analysis and close out of corrective actions.
4.Improve safety of work and machinery.
5.Support and participate in TPM initiatives..
Skills, Experience & Education
We are interested in candidates with following qualifications;
Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering(Plant Option) or Mechatronics qualification.
• At least 2 years practical experience as a qualified technician in FMCG environment.
• Experience in a highly automated soft drinks manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
