POSITION:
UNIT TRUST OPERATIONS OFFICER
DEPARTMENT:
CENTRAL OPERATIONS
JOB
PURPOSE STATEMENT
To
carry out the back office operations for the Unit Trusts business.
The role includes processing investment securities purchase and sale
instructions, as per dealer confirmations, end of day reconciliations
and processing and confirmation of settlement, dealing with
custodians, counterparties, brokers and the front office.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Timeliness
& accuracy and quality of trading transaction processing.
Prevention
of exposures to and impact of operational risks associated with asset
management back office functions.
Consistency
in adherence to and apply established policies, processes, procedures
and tools to achieve efficiency, compliance and customer
satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A
degree from a recognized university minimum 2nd class honors upper
division or 3.0 GPA.
At
least 2 years’ practical experience in Unit Trust operations.
Practical
experience in use of relevant MS Office applications
