Job description
Main Purpose of the Job
To operate independently as a finance business partner to the Lenana Project and UeNS team. The project Go-Live expectation is Q2 2016. Role requires finance acumen in project governance (CAPEX/RDI tracking), forecasting, SAP system setup & general financial management of the project. 
Key Responsibilities

  • Business partnering and providing decision support to SC and Project team.
  • Monthly CAPEX/RDI tracking & communicating of latest views (LV) with risks & opportunities.
  • Monthly revision of business case (i.e. CEP vs LV) & communicating thereof.
  • Analyses of Supplier Contracts with monitoring of Supplier Payments & investigation of variances.
  • Preparation of finance presentations for internal team use as well as steer com & board updates.
  • Quarterly revision of tax allowance application (Assistance from local Tax Dept provided).
  • Dealing with audit queries.
  • Monitoring & implementation of controls related to procurement purchases process, stock management, change management & business waste treatment.
  • Being involved in SAP IT build & thereafter maintaining SAP integrity via good cost centre management, budgeting & accurate activity cycles.
    Key Skills and Qualification
    • Minimum Commerce Bachelors (Accounting major).
    • Post Graduate qualification preferred (CPA/ACMA/ACCA)
    • At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain Finance.
    • Require Diagnostic & Analytical Skills.
    • Excellent Communication and presentation skills are critical.
    • SAP experience (MM, Controlling & FI modules).

These brands include Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Guinness, Malta Guinness, Tusker, J&B, Serengeti, Bells, and many more.
•The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Security in focusing, driving and supporting a proactive security function for EABL.
•The successful candidate will have responsibilities for the management of programs and systems designed to protect employees, reputation, business operations and assets. The work will cover protecting people, assets, reputation, events, and business operations, conducting investigations, intelligence issues and Security Management. The responsibility encompasses all aspects of the company’s business including 3rd party entities in relation to its people, the public, brands, assets and reputation. 
Purpose of the role:
•Protecting company employees, assets, brands, reputation and business operations/activities from actual or potential security threats.
•Preparing high quality reports including intelligence briefing, threats assessments and investigative reports;
•Having a comprehensive understanding of all the businesses within KBL and the risks they face and producing a resultant security risk assessment;
•Creating, and driving proactive security programs, with stakeholders, to ensure the continued safe and effective operations of the company;
•Overseeing the budget and expenditures of the above areas of responsibilities.
•Contributing to the global response to crisis and other significant events;
•Establishing and maintaining close liaison with relevant law enforcement and government authorities;
•Establishing training and security awareness for employees – third party providers - and providing professional security advice and consultation to corporate management.
Market Complexity: 
EABL has major operations throughout East Africa including Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. These comprise breweries, distilleries, distributions centres and warehouses as well as sales and marketing functions.
•The region offers a number of security challenges including ensuring the safety of staff in high risk locations, advising business travelers, protecting our facilities and goods from organized criminals, understanding the terrorist threat, counterfeit, contingency planning and undertaking internal investigations.
Top Accountabilities:
•Conducting investigations as required by EABL Head of Security and ensure that timely, detailed and concise written and verbal reports are given on detected/reported incidents.
•Ensure KBL site, and relevant third party sites are compliant with Diageo policies and standards and local regulatory requirements
•Driving proactive programs to mitigate current and emerging risks and trends to keep our people, assets and brands, events safe and secure. 
Qualification & Experience:
•Must be a university graduate and be a Kenyan citizen.
•Prior experience is required in military, government agency, law enforcement or as a corporate security professional. Minimum requirement is Captain in military or Chief Inspector of police
•Good knowledge of the commercial security field including, experience in threat analysis, Physical, people & travel security and developing risk analysis; experience in evaluating and implementing physical asset protection and conducting site surveys and awareness of executive protection
•Good knowledge of conducting and managing complex investigations, i.e. fraud allegations and civil investigations; conducting witness, victim, and suspect interviews experience
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job description
Main Purpose of the Job
The range of Machine Operator roles varies between categories and technologies, but generally sits within the Filling, Material Transfer, Mixer, Packing, Reporting, Shaping and Water Machinery Job Families.
The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of production equipment to deliver customer requirements through completion of the production plan, adhering to quality standards and maximising cost effectiveness, optimal running and equipment efficiency. She/he is expected to carry out cleaning and inspection activities and record any issues/problems with the equipment to pass to the Technical Operator to resolve.
Key Responsibilities
  • Technical - Knowledge and application of technical skills to Operate machinery safely and effectively in order to meet the production plan. Conduct cleaning and lubrication as required.
  • Carry out product and process changeovers/wash-outs to maintain quality standards whilst minimising the impact to the production plan.
  • Possesses an awareness of the principals of mechanism, motion and pneumatics.
  • Safety – Working knowledge of the workplace and the hazards within it. Utilise appropriate safety and environmental procedures relating to the Sourcing Unit and allocated equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team.
  • Environment - Reduce costs due to waste and minimise impact to health, safety and the environment through working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials.
  • Quality - Ensure that all aspects of Quality within the area of responsibility are in accordance with local Quality procedures to protect and promote the brand and product.
  • Continuous Improvement – Knowledge and understanding of the key principles of WCM and an awareness of the tools used to identify and prioritise losses in the production area and eliminate them; role requires data collection.Monitor measures and performance after initial improvements and take further action as required.
    Key Skills and Qualification
    • A Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any other related course
    • Experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company.
    • IT Skills – Competent in the use of Machine systems that record Material Movement, Losses and Quality. Must also be competent in the use of Microsoft Office; Excel and Word programmes
    • Problem Solving – A Working Knowledge of how to identify, prioritise and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.
    • Teamwork – Must be a good team player capable of working within a highly effective team; responsible, supportive and able communicator.
    • Physical Ability – Machine Operators require a level of agility to move quickly between workstations, ascend and descend steps often carrying loads. Assembly and control operations also require a level of hand eye coordination and finger dexterity.
