Job Objective
The Human Resource Manager will primarily be responsible for overseeing the Human Resources operation of the hotel. This shall be in accordance with company’s Strategies, directives and the Hotel’s Business Plan, which may be varied from time to time.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Fulfill the financial objectives of the hotel through proper and efficient management;
·Prepare and manage the annual human resources budget;
·Control expenses of the division;
·Ensure that the manning guide of the hotel is strictly adhered to;
·Co-ordinate an effective and efficient Payroll Management/Resource allocation;
·To prepare monthly forecasts and schedule resources accordingly.
·To be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of the Human Resources Division;
·Ensure accurate employee administration is maintained at all times;
·Prepare and update the human resources departmental operations manual;
·Oversee the hotel's recruitment and selection process;
·Support the internal development of supervisory and management personnel, through the implementation of an effective succession plan and coaching/mentoring program;
·Oversee the hotel's employee welfare programs, ensuring that the benefits supplied are relevant and competitive in the local market place;
·Maintain efficient staffing levels and payroll systems, helping division/department heads to maximize productivity and minimize unnecessary payroll costs;
·Research and propose competitive compensation/benefits/incentive packages;
·Assist the Training Manager with the training of senior management personnel and selected courses;
·Ensure that government-stipulated employee legislation is strictly followed and implemented;
·To prepare the hotel's duty management roster;
·Represent the human resources function on the hotel's Executive Committee;
·Ensure that a strong employee communications program is implemented;
·To assume full charge of initiating and driving environmental awareness within the hotel;
·Implement the corporate social responsibility strategies and goals of the hotel; and
·Ensure quick reaction to the Maintenance Requests.
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATION:
Masters Degree in Human Resource Management
·Be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) or any other recognized professional HR Body;
·Must possess knowledge and experience of relevant labour laws and industrial relations in Kenya;
·Must possess excellent planning and organizing skills;
·Should possess excellent written and oral communication skills; and
·Must be flexible in your job function and perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which may be assigned to you, including redeployment to other departments/areas if required, in order to meet business demands and guest service needs.

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of the role is to primarily assist the investment management front office team
i. Portfolio execution - Dealing of securities and scouting for investment opportunities.
ii. Monitoring and rebalancing multi asset class client portfolios in accordance with the firm’s policies.
iii. Monitoring and implementing strategies as agreed on portfolios.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERCENTAGE TIME SPENT
Supporting the CIO and SPM in constructing client portfolios;
Collect input and feedback from investment team to identify potential solutions;
Scouting for investment opportunities;
Dealing - Negotiating and closing investment opportunities with potential counterparties, placement agents, issuers, brokers etc.;
Develop and support client presentations;
Support sales and client services activities relating to client investment solutions;
Participating and giving input in the investment committee discussions;
Coordinate solutions, legal and marketing groups to develop materials used for client proposals.
Prepare client, scheme and external Reports as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
University Degree – Upper second or equivalent
Fully / part qualified in CFA or other relevant professional courses, will be an added advantage
At least 2 years portfolio analysis and/or research analysis and/or dealing/trading experience
Excellent computer skills
High attention to detail
Understanding and experience in performance calculations and reporting
Experience in in portfolio accounting systems

POSITION: UNIT TRUSTS CLIENT SERVICES OFFICER
DEPARTMENT: CBA CAPITAL – WEALTH MANAGEMENT
JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of this role includes providing customer services to optimize customer satisfaction, assisting clients in completion and processing account opening applications in accordance with CBA Capital KYC guidelines and dealing with day to day client request and queries for the assets management business.
The incumbent also provides training to and coordinates activities of relevant customer-contact staff at branches and other stakeholders who form part of the business development network to drive growth.
The role shall be the first point of contact for retail staff who make enquiries into the CBA Capital products offering and/or wish to open transaction accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERCENTAGE TIME SPENT
Acceptance and creation of Investors and new unit for new investors, including ensuring completion of the KYC processes.
Accurate and timely processing of unit trust subscription/redemption requests;
Creation and liquidation of units in the Unit Trust funds;
Accurate update of investors unit holdings in APX and correct reflection of the holdings on the clients statements;
Processing clients transfer instructions (intra fund transfers, liquidations, private transfers etc.;
Liaison with custodians for timely processing of all client subscriptions & redemptions instructions.
Provision of monthly and adhoc Units statements to clients.
Processing daily cash receipts from the UTF suspense account at CBA to KCB.
Advising the fund manager of new funds and liquidation requests on a daily basis.
Responding to customer queries coming in directly from clients and from branches
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
University Degree in Business related course – minimum 2nd class honors upper division or 3.0 GPA.
At least 2 years’ experience in Unit Trusts client service, and front office operations
