Receptionist vacancy
Our client, an International company leading in software application development is urgently seeking to recruit an Executive Receptionist with good experience in Reception and Front Desk Management to provide administrative support including receiving and handling information. We are specifically looking for a qualified female candidate who can fill the position immediately.



Key Responsibilities
  • Assuming receptionist duties, greeting the visitors and referring them to appropriate staff members
  • Attending to phone calls and replying to the emails received from the clients
  • Filing of documents
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors
  • Maintaining records for staff, telephones and parking
  • Handling petty cash
  • Preparing and modifying various correspondences and documents
  • Maintaining customer records by updating accounts information
  • Handle all customers’ inquiries with consistency and objectivity
  • Ensure that the front office desk offers a warm and friendly welcome and a speedy, efficient check-in and check-out
  • Ensure that there is information to help guests and be their point of information about company products/services.
Qualification and Experience
  • Diploma/Degree in Front Office or Business related field from a reputable institution
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in the field.
  • Must have a good profile.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven personality with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Candidate must have good physical appearance
  • Must be very confident.

Our client,seeks 3 Business Development Executives who will plan, manage and deliver on driving Sales targets and overall revenue target enabling successful short, medium and long term alignment and customer satisfaction.
Key Deliverables:
  • Developing new markets and driving sales strategies and targets in order to drive company’s Strategic objective of becoming and maintaining market leadership in the region.
  • Development Executives will also be responsible for creating and delivering the sales strategy for the company in the East Africa region
  • Developing and driving product knowledge on the steel industry, company products, trends, trade shows, conferences and other Steel industry related activities.
  • Analyze customers profiles in order to identify cross-sales and up-selling opportunities, and recommending end to end solutions depending on their customer profile.
  • Foster relationships with key account contacts ensuring the company’s Steel market share is maintained and opportunities for growth are exploited.
  • Focus on technical, market and sales development activities required to jointly go to market with complete, competitive solutions for current products.
  • Provide insights and market intelligence on the Steel industry from customer visits, market reports, published data etc for Management reporting.
  • Work with the head of segment on sales forecasting and sales expansion plans within the region.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Engineering (Structural, Civil, Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification from a reputable learning institution.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in sales and negotiating skills of steel products or related industry products.
  • Experience in import and export within the steel or related industry will be an advantage.
  • Good Influencing, negotiation, analytical and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Good communication, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in English, proficiency in French will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and commercial partners.
Desired Skills
  • Proven aptitude in liaising, negotiating, influencing, presentation skills and establishing a credible consultative role on all aspects of closing deals with key external clients.

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain management in East and Central Africa seeks an Assistant Logistics Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organization and management of all logistics, warehousing and inventory functions of the Nairobi warehouse.
Key Deliverables:
  • Responsible for inventory management and overseeing the smooth running of the storage space and procedures, constantly seeking to improve existing systems of inventory management.
  • Responsible for dispatch and scheduling strategies that ensure optimal delivery of goods to customers in the most efficient, timely and cost effective manner
  • Maintaining health and safety standards within the warehouse and ensuring that vehicles meet legal and safety standards
  • Responsible for a team of warehouse workers, managing worker time sheets,
  • Training and allocating of shifts in the most optimal manner
  • Developing and directing the transportation activities, including in-house or third-party transportation relationships , managing sub-contracts, where necessary negotiating pricing , and monitoring suppliers costs, ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations
  • Collaborating with other departments especially the sales and customer service departments to ensure customer service standards and SLA’s are constantly met and improved upon.
  • Create and deliver logistics and internal inventory reports to management where needed.
  • Setting and managing high standards of performance within the warehouse, promoting integrity, and teamwork.
  • Continually improving systems, policies and procedures by identify existing problems, and implementing solutions.
  • Ensuring all inventory movements are tracked on the CRM system, including implementing a monitoring system for inventory counts.
  • Support regular auditing of all inventories and inventory related documentation and execute regular security and maintenance checks.
  • To drive a culture that ensures absolute control of the Logistics processes with the necessary effective preventive and corrective measures.
  • Facilitate the development of relevant training, development and coaching of subordinates.
  • To develop and continuously review Logistics Key Performance Indicators to drive performance and continuous improvement plans
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  • Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics or Supply chain management or relevant discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics and Warehousing Management including import and export experience.
  • Sound knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
  • Audit techniques and methodology.
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams, and ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Training.
  • Strong work ethic with a strong sense of integrity.
