Roles & Responsibilities;
This role requires you to develop specialised tax expertise in at least one or more areas (Direct Tax – Corporate Tax) and act as a key resource on complex tax technical matters.
·Contribute to the development of new methodologies or approaches to address emerging tax issues for our clients.
·Show a good understanding of tax or legal legislation and develop insightful solutions to complex client issues.
·Demonstrate experience in strategic tax planning, restructuring and complex tax authority enquiries, business development initiatives on target clients and development of new market opportunities locally and internationally.
·Assist clients by identifying issues they may not recognise and recommend solutions tailored to their strategic and commercial objectives whilst considering the regulatory environment
·Manage existing client portfolios and maintain sound client relationships
·Identify new opportunities within existing clients
·Leverages on internal and external networks to enhance firm’s connectivity, performance and profitability opportunities
·Ensure compliance with risk management procedures on own and team assignments.
.Ensure that financial targets of self and team are achieved
.Provide coaching on an ongoing basis;
·Provide performance feedback on assignments and input to appraisals for other junior staff;
·Ensure that the working environment contributes to improving staff morale and increasing productivity,
·Provide in writing technical opinions or reports on for clients ;
·Conduct technical training - internal and to clients as and when required;
·Keep up to date with changes in legislation relevant to specific tax areas




Requirements
Skills & Competencies;
·Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university,
·You will have an accounting, legal or tax qualification
·Over six years of relevant experience at a managerial level together with good technical tax knowledge in tax specialisms and tax advisory work.
·Excellent analytical skills and commercial expertise are required for you to succeed in this role.
·You must also demonstrate the ability to communicate with impact, have excellent business development and negotiation skills.
·You will have good leadership skills, be an effective team player, excellent management skills and good project management skills.

Job description
JOB PURPOSE:
To support business expansion in South East Africa by ensuring that all regulatory processes are adhered to as per below responsibilities. This includes stewardship on regulatory matters and assisting in reaching the SEA target of no miss on regulatory outages

JOB SCOPE:
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure fast market access of P&G products by providing regulatory support. The objective is to ensure all brands are registered and Plants licensed as a by project requirement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures fast market access for P&G products in SEA markets:
· Ensures availability of standards and regulations and their correct interpretation. Monitors and informs P&G on development of new regulations/ standards.
· Proactively informs P&G on emerging regulatory issues with product import.
· Registration of all new brands with the required authority in each country.
· Triggers the renewal of licensing and registration process of P&G products 2 months before expiration by informing Regulatory Managers to kick-start the process.
· Updates regulatory assessment worksheet and provides weekly updates to P&G.
· Prepares documentation needed for product registration by liaising with R&D.
· Play a key role in simplifying current regulatory processes.
· Liaise with regulatory consultants and Distributor ER managers to source required information and manage registrations.

Role Objective
Being In charge of the company website and be the company’s official graphics designer to design all company materials and communication online and offline

Salary scale; KShs. 40,000
The holder of this post must have an Entrepreneurial Mindset.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • In charge of the company’s website, keep our website up to date on a dailybasis. This will entail loading to our website new products and content creation
  • Managing and updating all the over 20 websites belonging to the company
  • Designs and maintains the company website, blogs, fan pages etc.
  • Creating design concepts that have a high visual impact that positively represents the company.
  • Creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time and content management.
  • Online marketing- through social media together with the in-house administration team as part of his/her team for content creation i.e. Face book, twitter, Skype etc
  • Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content
  • Upgrades site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining link.
  • Be the company official graphic designer to design all company materials and communication online and offline
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of Diploma in IT course.
  • Qualification in web design with strengths in graphic arts with knowledge of design software’s like Corel draw and in design.
  • Minimum of 3 yrs Experience in IT support,web development/ maintenance as well as online marketing
  • Able to expertly integrate the website, with all major social media platforms, and drive users to the site
  • Web graphic Design with Fireworks, Photoshop etc.
  • Must be Web Savvy.
  • Working knowledge of database platforms including SQL Server, MySql, Oracle, Sybase, foxpro,CSS,Jquery
  • Experience in Graphic design using graphic design tools e.g. Photoshop, illustrator, fireworks e.t.c
  • Have a portfolio of website(s) developed in
  • High integrity
  • Good interpersonal skill
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to produce good looking and creative web pages that have been thoroughly de-bugged across all currently used browsers
  • Excellent team player and willingness both to take direction and use own initiative as appropriate
