Overview
Living
Goods is growing! Living Goods’ launched its Partnerships division
in 2012 to dramatically scale its impact through partnerships and
influence. Living Goods has since supported six organizations
including several leading Global NGOs to adapt “Living Goods-like”
business models in other developing countries.
The
Partnerships Manager will be a core member of the Partnerships team,
leading client engagements, and driving business development. We’re
looking for someone with a blend of strong consulting and emerging
markets experience who is eager to roll up their sleeves and build
this new unit within Living Goods. This is a role that requires
initiative and drive, rather than simply execution. You’ll be
responsible co-designing and operationalizing smart business plans
with partner organizations, seeking out and building relationships
with partners and their investors who have the potential for huge
scale and impact, and from time to time leading special operations
and strategy-focused projects for LG Direct in Uganda and Kenya.
We’re
a small organization striving for big impact, so we expect you to be
proactive and energetic, with a ‘start-up’ attitude. From day
one, you’ll demonstrate problem-solving prowess, and commitment to
achieving huge impact for Living Goods and our partners.
This
position is based out of our regional offices in Nairobi, Kenya or
Kampala, Uganda.
30-50% travel is expected, with several weeks or more at a time on
site with partners in other countries.
Desired
Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- 4
+ years with a top consulting firm or in a highly demanding
professional environment, with a proven track record of exceeding
expectations;
- Experience
in Global Health, Community Health Workers, Franchising, Direct
Selling, or Base of the Pyramid Distribution a plus;
- Entrepreneurial
spirit and professional maturity; ability to work independently,
think creatively, learn quickly and know when to seek support;
- Demonstrated
success managing client-facing relationships and delivering
exceptional impact for clients;
- Proven
ability to communicate effectively and inspire confidence in a wide
variety of audiences including senior executives, middle managers,
and field staff, across global businesses, NGOs and governments;
- Excellent
quantitative, analytical, problem solving and project management
skills; Experience working with culturally diverse teams in
developing countries, and preferably in Sub Saharan Africa;
- Enthusiasm
for growing Living Goods impact around the world, including the
30-50% travel that is needed to make that happen;
- Language
skills are a plus, particularly French and Portuguese.
- BA
required; Masters degree in a relevant field (MBA, MPH, MPA, etc)
preferred.

Solution
Sales Executive - Supply Chain, Planning and Manufacturing
Purpose
and objectives
Specialist
Solution Sales Executive bears responsibility for providing active
revenue growth through the sales of Supply Chain, Planning and
Manufacturing Solutions.
As
a Supply Chain, Planning and Manufacturing Sales Executive you will
be responsible as opportunity owner for development and execution of
appropriate sales strategies for Supply Chain, Planning and
Manufacturing solutions to ensure that Sales strategies to ensure
that revenue targets are met.
The Sales Executive will work with
the broader specialist solutions team in the country and hub to
generate pipeline within their assigned territory and also accelerate
the pipeline to closure.
Expectations
and tasks
- Develop
a plan to provide LOB Supply Chain, Planning and Manufacturing
solution sales coverage across identified Territory /accounts
- Executes
account strategy and generates product revenue as a individual
contributor to ensure the achievement of revenue and overall
pipeline generation targets
- Conduct
sales & solution presentations for prospects & customers
- Effectively
leverage the rest of the Procurement team, including pre-sales in
country, consulting as well as the SAP Partner EcoSystem to work
with the various direct and indirect account team in order to expand
SAP Supply Chain, Planning and Manufacturing footprint
- Maintains
good relationships with SAP customers, which will be measured by
their reference ability and customer satisfaction surveys

ability to work in matrix structured environment and a team player

track record of identifying problems and providing clear actionable

strong sales professional who is disciplined in ensuring forecast
accuracy, diligent in accounts closure activities and consciously
build a strong pipeline to over-achieve the sales target
- Demonstrated
understanding of local enterprise business markets
- Knowledge
and demonstrated use of Miller Heiman or similar sales methodology
- Consistent
over-achievement of quotas
- Demonstrable
ability to work under pressure in a rapidly growing business
environment
Work
experience
At
least 5 - 8 years’ IT enterprise software solution sales,
preferably in the area of Supply Chain, Planning and Manufacturing
Line of Business Solutions selling to the CXO’s

Regulatory, and Quality (MRQ) Manager

the department
Novo
Nordisk Middle Africa was formed in early 2012. The affiliate is
composed of 16 nationalities spanning 48 countries in Africa. Novo
Nordisk has an established presence with human insulin in Africa and
our focus today is to sustain the growth of the market, ensure
availability of better quality modern insulin within the markets and
support the communities living with diabetes.
The position is
based in Kenya, reports to Middle Africa General Manager who is based
in Dubai and is a member of Middle Africa Management Team.
The
job
Middle
Africa Medical, Regulatory, and Quality (MRQ) Manager position is a
globally oriented and will require strong interactions with many
stakeholders including regulatory bodies, treating physicians and
therapeutic experts.
You will set strategy for Medical,
Regulatory, and Quality functions and ensure implementation of all
activities driving the business in MA. You are expected to maintain
strong relations with the stakeholders (MOH, KOL, HCPs) and manage
contractual interactions with HCPs. You will work towards increasing
the prescribers’ base across Africa. Your ambition will be to
strengthen sales teams’ medical skills and coordinate trainings
such as CME in the countries. You will prepare the affiliate for the
future clinical trials. For regulatory affairs function, you will
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the countries. You
will be responsible for the quality assurance function in the
affiliate. You will work very closely with the other Middle Africa
functions and support Sales and Marketing. You will represent Middle
Africa in various global and regional projects. You will have a
frequent travel schedule within sub-saharan Africa.

Qualifications
- You
carry experience in leading and motivating teams from different
backgrounds, origins and cultures in difficult and changing
environments.
- You
hold a Medical Doctor Degree with working knowledge of Diabetes.
- You
have minimum 5 years of experience in one of these functions;
experience in more than one function is a plus.
-
English
proficiency is required; French proficiency is a very valuable
asset. You have excellent stakeholder management and communication
skills.
- You
have experience in project management.
- You
demonstrate ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice
and input. You are problem-solving, result-oriented, and
multi-tasking. You have a capacity to work under pressure.
- Last
but not least you have ground knowledge of the African
pharmaceutical industry and the risks faced by multinationals in a
global economy.
