The Job
The role of the Finance Manager is to among other things:
- Providing
and interprete financial information;
- Monitoring
cash flows and predicting future trends;
- Analyzing
change and advising accordingly;
- Formulating
strategic and long-term financial plans;
- Developing
financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
- Conducting
reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
- Managing
a company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting
systems;
- Liaising
with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
- Producing
accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
- Managing
budgets;
- Keeping
abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- The

Position Summary: Key Account Manager

This is particularly important in Kenya where GSM Systems East Africa is seeking to increase its revenue generation by strengthening its local customer relationships and finding new telecom opportunities either directly within existing market or in cooperation with partners and seeks a Key Account Manager to join our sales team in Nairobi to secure new business and manage existing customer accounts. This will build on the considerable success GSM Systems East Africa has already made in East African region through its operations center in Nairobi as well as current strategic contracts in Kenya and the COMESA markets. We are looking for an identifier who will see creative opportunities, a builder who will add his/her value to build the sales strategy within the organization and a driver who can execute very well.

- Sales
strategy: Develop specific plan on how to sell GSM
Systems East Africa products
(local services, equipment sales, repair of network items) to
existing and potential customers in the East Africa & COMESA
region
- Revenue
targets: will be communicated depending on agreed territory and
opportunities
- Win-Win
Negotiation: Get business stakeholders together to provide win-win
approach/analysis to drive business deals to close.
- Win
major contracts: Personally win new customers and grow share of
customer, knock down barriers to entry and close deals; build &
enhance strategic 3rd party relationships
- Analysis
and planning: Monitor sales activity related to existing customers,
pipeline, and prospects; provide accurate forecasts.
- Teamwork:
interact effectively with other parts of the company, get
operational statistics that would promote business including
providing objective win/loss analysis and customize this to
strengthen the value proposition for local customers.
