MP Shah Hospital is looking to recruit ambitious and career driven person for vacancy in the following position:
Dentist
In collaboration with other health care providers, the dentist will provide and facilitate provision of diagnosis, preventative care, and treatment procedures to help patients recover from any diseases that affect the oral cavity, the teeth and the mouth
Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the current health and condition of patient’s teeth to determine diagnosis of dental condition, if any
  • Consider treatment methods and explain the options with the patient to determine which
    works best for them based on their situation
  • Carry out clinical procedures to remove decay, fill cavities, straighten teeth, extract teeth
    and make models and measurements for dentures to replace missing teeth
  • Perform corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases
  • Provide instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, the use of fluorides, and other aspects of dental care
Qualifications and Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a University Degree in Dentistry with 3 years of work experience
  • Registered with the Kenya Medical & Dentists Board Ambulance Paramedics
  • The incumbent in consultation with other health care professionals will provide specialized care and treatment to patients that have been involved in accidents, emergencies or other life threatening crises
Ambulance Paramedics
Job Responsibilities:
  • Respond to all emergency calls, assess patients and provide emergency treatment before hospital admission
  • Provide medical assistance during emergency situations, such as CPR, AED, prevent shock, control severe bleeding, prevent spinal damage, etc.
  • Drive and equip ambulances and other emergency vehicles
  • Transport patients and continue to provide treatment whilst in transit to the hospital
  • Provide hospital emergency staff and relatives with patient information including current condition and treatment
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Current Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support,Advanced Trauma Life Support
    and Basic Life Support (ACLS,ATLS and BLS) and valid paramedic credential
  • A clean and Valid Driving license held for a minimum of one year and preferably
    experience of driving larger vehicles and carrying passengers.
  • Diploma in Nursing or Clinical Officer with Paramedic Training.
  • Kenya Nursing Council License or Clinical Officer Registration License.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position.

Project Delivery Engineer Vacancy

Project Delivery Engineer(Job Number:13000HZC)

JOB PURPOSE
The Purpose of the Projects Engineer role is to ensure that engineering services are provided to facilitate efficient plant functioning and to achieve factory performance targets.
S/HE
  • Interprets relevant laws to ensure that standards and laws are implemented and adhered to.
  • Investigates accidents and incidents and draws up reports.
Budget
  • Accountable for cost estimations and budget proposals.
  • Responsible for the control and execution of work against a budget and authorizations within authority limits.
  • Is responsible for ensuring capitalization of the whole project (mechanical, electrical etc.).
  • Specifies scope of work and ensures projects remain within budget.
  • Obtains quotes for projects and raises the budget to deliver agreed maintenance/continuous improvement.
  • Raises MMI project (miscellaneous minor items).
  • Manages capital budgets by designing, implementing and commissioning the project and allocating budget and resource accordingly.
Projects
  • Responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning and hand over of projects within own area of responsibility, with emphasis on the implementation of respective engineering discipline.
  • Is responsible for the writing up and training of SOP’s.
  • Provides respective discipline input in multi-disciplinary projects (mechanical/ civil/ electrical).
  • Draws up buying contracts, technical specifications and outlines scope of work
Continuous Improvement
  • Makes recommendations and actions improvements within area of responsibility.
  • Designs out recurring engineering problems to prevent breakdown into the future.
  • Investigates, analyses and actions solutions to relevant problems identified.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of procedures and standards by sourcing and evaluating materials
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Relevant Engineering Degree
  • 2-5 years engineering experience in a manufacturing industry and capital project
  • SAP experience
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Excel, MS Projects, Project Schedule, SAP (Plant Maintenance and Purchasing), e-mail and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of OSH Act.
