Description
The
Assistant Credit Controller will be a key member of the Accounting
Department responsible for chasing outstanding invoices to the
company and plays a vital role in the cash-flow of the organisation
ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled
effectively.
Key
Duties & Responsibilities
Chasing
debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days
Allocating
payments in accordance with customer remittances
Processing and
generating reminder letters and monthly statements
Liaising with
the sales teams to resolve customer queries
Ensuring that all
major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle
Daily and month
end reporting and account reconciliations
Investigating and
resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices
Working to
strict monthly and annual collections targets
Skills,
Experience & Education
Has
strong understanding of the order-to-pay process in a manufacturing
environment
Knowledge of the principles and practices of financial
record keeping as they relate to the Accounts Receivables function
and basic accounting practices and procedures
The successful
candidate will be self-motivated, and have strong problem solving and
interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
(i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Proficiency in SAP, ERP System
A
passion for precision and a desire to get things right, first time
A
robust character, able to respond to pressing demands from customers
and colleagues
Good communication skills, written and verbal –
the ability to get the tone right as well as the substance,
particularly on the phone and via email
To be considered for
this exciting opportunity, candidates should possess 3+ years’
experience in accounting including 1-2 years in Credit Control with a
minimum of an honors degree and CPA/ACCA Finalist.

POSITION PURPOSE: -
To execute maintenance activities in Asset Care, that will increase productivity of the company’s assets according to SABCO’s engineering standards
Key Duties & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Reporting to the services maintenance Controller, the successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be;
To ensure services/ Utilities equipment and all buildings are well maintained through preventive maintenance. (Be able to do TIG and arc welding, carpentry, masonry and painting.)
To ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of services/ utilities equipment.
To plan and execute services projects that will increase productivity of the company according to Coca Cola SABCO engineering standards.
To ensure minimum downtime (maximum availability) of services utilities.
Support E.O.S.H standards and Energy sustainability.
Skills, Experience & Education
We are interested in candidates with following qualifications;
Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• At least 2 years practical experience as a qualified technician in FMCG environment.
• Experience in soft drinks packaging environment will be an added advantage.
