The
School
The
Cambridge International School, Nairobi is a new Cambridge model
school which opened in September 2012, offering the National
Curriculum for England. From 2013 the school will cater to students
from Foundation Stage to Year 12.
The school is housed in a
brand new state-of-the-art campus. It is situated in extensive
grounds in an upmarket residential area of Karen, a suburb of
Nairobi, and will also offer boarding facilities.

Post
We
are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced English
and Drama Teacher.
We
are seeking an individual who is qualified to teach and assess
assigned students according to their educational needs and deliver
the relevant curriculum, ensuring that each student achieves academic
success. You will be required to participate in, and lead where
appropriate, the co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes in the
school and assist in the planning and organising of school events and
functions (eg inter-house competitions, concerts, school plays, prize
days, etc).
Skills,
Experience & Qualifications required:
·
Education/teaching degree OR first degree and teaching
qualification/license is essential.
· Degree/qualification
related to English and Drama with the ability to teach the IGCSE and
A Level curriculum is essential
· Skilled teacher with solid
commitment to teaching and learning and strong subject knowledge.
·
More than 1 language is desirable.

Qualification

This role reports the Spirits Materials Supervisor
Context/Scope:KBL as a Unit in EABL is mainly involved in production and sale of Alcoholic Beverages. The production of Non-Carbonated alcoholic beverages (Spirits) is done by UDVK.
UDVK is currently facing stiff competition from both the local and International Spirits Manufacturers. This calls for a very sophisticated Balance in blending and packaging at the highest level of Quality.
Key to the UDVK operations is the commitment to the development and implementation of world-class systems and processes to enable the attainment of world-class best practices in all operations.
Purpose of role:To ensure that all the materials required for Spirits Operations are obtained from the main store and availed to the lines. The main role is SAP transactions; reconcile the materials from the point of receipt as bulk neutral spirit to transfer to the main warehouses.
Market Complexity: All operations must be done under the safest of conditions, whilst ensuring the product is availed at optimal costs to meet and exceed consumers’ expectations. The quality and safety of the products is paramount, while delivery on time is upheld by staffs who are highly motivated
The consumer is now more discerning, and demands both quality and value for money.
The company seeks to perform all its activities in ways that prevent environmental pollution and ensure the occupational health and safety of its employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors.
UDV is currently operating two packaging lines, blending operations and Ready to drink plant. All plants present serious challenges of availability and efficiency and subsequently in meeting sales demand.

Top Accountabilities:
- Shift
based all materials (including bulk) reconciliations and follow up
on closing out any identified gaps and Route Cause Problem Solving’s
to ensure all within set KPI’s.
- Prepares
material stock balances for review every morning, prepare daily
production figures for tracking and line performance and make
requisition for packaging supplies.
- Posting
items into the system on time to allow movement into the warehouse.
- Prepare
Stores Issue Vouchers for drawing required packaging components from
store
- Obtain
material usages on brand basis from the materials technicians for
the purpose of spirits handover through the system to the Warehouses
- Daily
Stock take and reconciliation of KRA stamps. Prepares monthly
reports on the same for forwarding to KRA.
- Assist
in clearing the lines for monthly stock take exercise, carries out
the stock take exercise under supervision and prepares returns
- Organizing
for the day store space for appropriate storage of products and
subsequent transfer to main the warehouse.
- Ensure
compliance with safety requirements at the work environment.
- Ensure
system is delivering expectation and report issues and any anomalies
on system performance
