the Sage System with accounts payable

reconciliation of Supplier Accounts
- Receiving
and counter-checking all signed delivery notes from suppliers
- Timely
paying V.A.T, N.S.S.F, N.H.I.F PAYE and other legal payments
- Ensuring
timely payment of insurance for the company vehicles, stock and
other assets
- Maintaining
and paying for business license, City Council license and rates
- Filing
all service providers and supplier invoices and also any other
payable materials
- Responding
to suppliers emails and calls
- Preparing
company cash flow projections
- Posting
and pricing all locally manufactured goods and costing of
imported goods
- Negotiating
credit facilities with suppliers
- Receiving
and verifying supplier invoices and requisitions for goods
- Diploma
in Credit Mgt or business/Finance related field
- Good
understanding and implementation of the credit policy.
- Lending
and relationship management experience to create a balance between
credit risk and customer service
- At
least three (4) years’ experience in a credit function of a
financial institution
- Have
an excellent interpersonal, organizing and people management skills.
- Excellent
communication and presentation skills, with outstanding reporting
skills.
