IT
security experts, with certifications in CCNP+, CEH, CISSP, CISM and
knowledge of Information Security management systems control.
Exposure to PCI DSS a plus.
Academic
qualifications/Experience
•
First
or Second Class Upper Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
from a recognized university
•
An
A or B in O’level plus a B or above in both English &
Mathematics
•
A
minimum of 2 - 3 years relevant experience in Public & Financial
Services Sector
•
An
MBA would be an added advantage
•
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills in English (other language is
a plus)
•
Proficient
IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Assigned to 1 of the 2 Kenya Based Public Sector Territories with named accounts
• Leverages and coordinates a mix of IBM Direct & Business Partner resources to maximize the IBM Software Group opportunity in the territory
• Responsible for the execution of the IBM Software Strategy, promoting customer awareness of software solutions, driving opportunity identification, ensuring progression, coordinating multiple brand offerings, and removing barriers to success
• Responsible for client relationships, satisfaction, and success
• Primary software contact with other IBM resources engaged in the account or territory
• Responsible for defining Software Strategy in the territory together with the IBM Client Rep
Key Performance Measures
• Responsible for customer satisfaction & overall territory management
• Define business objectives in the territory, which will lead to successful execution and delivery against assigned targets and goals.
Collaborates internally and leads on Software Solution sales to prospective Customers
• Understand customer business environment to be able to identify the opportunity to respond with an IBM Software solution
• Gain knowledge of Software offerings, along with financial and selling skills, to effectively handle routine assignments and to assist on more complex assignments, for opportunities within the territory.
• Demonstrate required proficiency levels for sales skills, as defined for incumbents in this position.
• Demonstrate effective territory management using the defined tools and techniques determined by your manager
