Valuations and Advisory Key Skills and Required Experience
  • Financial Modeling (advanced) is a fundamental requirement for this position

Valuations and Advisory Associate Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams.
  • Manage business valuations for management planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, and corporate strategy.
  • Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed.
  • Maintain and develop positive, productive, and professional relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, mentor others, stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client's business, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided.
  • Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities within various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theory
  • Designing and working with financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction analyses
  • Independently gathering data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction and client site visits
  • Assisting in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner
  • Contributing directly to the development of proposals, presentations and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
  • Performing in-depth client, industry, market and competitor research

Desired Skills and Experience

Description
As part of the EMEA Sales Engineering and East Africa Sales teams, you will be responsible for all pre-sales technical activities with customers and prospects in your assigned territory. You will perform presentations and workshops with customers and prospects about Sandvine products and solutions, articulating their operational benefits and features. You must possess competitive knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings and have an understanding and be conversant about the company, solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Primary activities will include customer presentations bids and proposal coordination as well as network design. You should have proven “hands on” experience and be able to run trials and Proof of Concept tests in order to demonstrate Sandvine solutions. You may also support launch activities, assist with tradeshows and system engineering training and be required to respond to initial customer inquiries. You will assist with the definition and championing of improvements in Sandvine networking systems and software solutions.
We are looking for a person with experience and self-motivation, with the ability to function on his/her own. The successful candidate will become the technical authority on the Sandvine products and solutions. The person must also have commercial awareness and flair with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Computer or Network Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of networking experience with routing products and IP related technologies
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, sub-netting, traffic flows, TCP/UDP, application layer protocols like HTTP, P2P, IM, etc.
• Installation, operation and configuration of all of the following: Cisco or Juniper routers/switches, Unix, Linux and/or BSD operating systems, firewall technologies
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in a highly technical product lab setting or operational network environment would be considered an asset
• Experience in Wireless data technologies (CDMA, GPRS, LTE, …)
• Knowledge of Wireless data network architecture including standards (3GPP, 3GPP2)

Skills
Excellent troubleshooting and investigative skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and have a demonstrated ability to absorb new technologies
• Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
• Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches

Project Management experience deploying large systems an advantage
• Must be prepared for extensive travel

• A strong track record of positioning an organization to achieve tangible outcomes in a competitive communications environment.
• Ability to navigate unchartered territory and rapid changes due to economic factors, public policy and other changes.
• Good business and commercial acumen with strong understanding of Coca-Cola value chains.
• Experience in Public Sector Relationship Management and communication leading and working with a diverse team.
• Experience in strategy formulation, planning implementation of public affairs and communications management.
