Baker
Hughes has openings for Cementing Field Specialists in Kenya to work
locally, rotational or in assignee positions. All candidates will be
considered.
Key
responsibilities/accountabilities
- Under
minimal supervision, receives little instruction on day-to-day work.
- Effectively
prepares, manages and runs a cementing service team, ensuring the
unit is maintained in an operational and presentable condition.
- Works
with customer representative and drill crew on location to
coordinate operations with the rig.
- Provides
record of all products consumed to the customer representative at
the well site.
- Advises
customer representative in the cementing services operations and
decision-making processes.
- Supervises
crew and equipment at the well site and at the shop to provide
specific cementing services.
- Responsible
for the maintenance of equipment and facility.
- Assists
with training of assigned personnel in cementing services.
- Promotes
and maintains good customer relations.
- Performs
all required responsibilities safely and as described in the
standard operations manuals.
- Performs
other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities
in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance
requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
- Reports
to District Field Supervisor.
- Experience
within onshore or offshore cementing operations

Preferred
qualifications/requirements
- Cementing/Stimulation
courses pertaining to product knowledge.

Reporting
to the Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for achieving
revenue goals and building relationships within all layers of mobile
and fixed Broadband Service Providers in East Africa.
Responsibilities:
• Identification
and development of new opportunities for Sandvine products and
services.
• Achievement of revenue targets.
• Creation of
strategic business plans for targeted accounts.
• Understand
customer environment and Sandvine solution set to deliver appropriate
value proposition and business case for targeted customers.

Understand competitive positioning and threats to effectively compete
versus key competitors.
• Manage SE activities in support of
above.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
5 years product and service - based sales experience
- Proven
history of success managing and negotiating large deals
- Demonstrated
success with exceeding pre-defined sales quotas
- Highly
motivated and able to sell large ticket solutions at all levels
- Understanding
of Broadband Service Provider Market including experience working
with Marketing/Product organizations and generating relevant
business cases
- Prior
account management experience leveraging senior level contacts
across multiple organizations within Broadband Service Provider
Accounts in the above region
- Understanding
of Carrier technologies, Including Wireless, Cable, DSL, Telephony,
LAN, WAN and Policy management
- Must
have experience handling multi-million dollar quotas and creating
strategic business plans and competitive strategy for assigned
accounts
- Experience
providing accurate business reporting (weekly, monthly, and
quarterly forecasting)
- Understanding
of tier 1/2 service provider organizations and their buying cycles
is preferred
- Ability
to work independently
- Must
be willing and able to travel in the aforementioned regions
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skill

Associate Sales Representative (ASR).
A successful ASR will be

months of on-the-job training that will prepare you for a successful

For the first three months
of the program, you’ll undergo courses focusing on the latest

Eligibility
Requirements:

Undergraduate or graduate degree (minimum bachelor degree or
equivalent)
• Graduated from an accredited university prior to
program start date
• Preferred cumulative GPA of minimum 3.0 or
equivalent in your academic program
• Fluent in English (written
and verbal), as well as fluent in local language for country of
application
• Business or Sales experience required (including
retail sales, corporate internships, or entrepreneurial programs)
•
Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology,
Computer Science, or Finance degree preferred. Other degrees can be
considered.
• Must be able to legally live and work in the
country for which you’re applying, without visa support or
sponsorship (student visas or visas obtained on your own are not
applicable for the program)
Relocation
Requirements:
The
relocation expectations for the programme within the first three
years will be the following:
• Year 1: You must be willing to
relocate to a Cisco Sales Associates Program training hub within your
country or region for the 12 months of the program. Cisco will
provide relocation assistance when applicable.
• Year 2: Upon
successful completion of the programme, you’ll be promoted to a
Virtual Sales Account Manager role in Global Virtual Sales. You are
required to stay at the Cisco Sales Associates Program hub location
or be relocated to a Global Virtual Sales hub in your home country or
region for 12 months, based on business need. We cannot confirm final
placement destination at time of offer. Cisco will provide relocation
assistance when applicable.
• Year 3: After the first two years
within the Virtual Sales organization, you are entitled to apply
internally to open Account Manager and Field positions where
available.
