Due to our rapid growth, we are looking to recruit result oriented individuals to fill the below positions in our fast growing organization.
Executive Drivers10 Positions
Job Scope

  • Responsible for smoothtransfer of clients as advised.
  • Keeping proper records of transfers.
  • Ensuring clients are handled in a professional manner.
  • Driving and maintaining the company vehicle in a good manner.
  • Ensuring the vehicle allocated is in good working condition and report any mechanical problem arising immediately.
  • Performing daily routine checks in the vehicle allocated.
  • Complying with the traffic rules and company policies in execution of duties allocated.


Job Requirements

  • Must be 28 years of age and above.
  • Should have a driving experience of 3 years and above preferably in a cab/ leasing/tours organization.
  • Must possess a Driving license class BCE, PSV and certificate of good conduct.
  • Should know how to read and write English and Kiswahili.
  • Knowledge of foreign language is an added advantage.
  • Should have training in tourism and travel & tours.
  • The individual should have a wide knowledge of Nairobi streets, estates, shopping malls, resorts, parks and roads network.
  • Should possess customer care skills.
  • Should be well groomed and presentable and ready to work in shift.

Vehicle Mechanics & Auto Electrician 2 Positions

Job Scope

  • Maintenance of a large fleet of cars.
  • Prioritize and plan for vehicles repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain preventive program for the fleet.
  • Ensure complete inventory of required parts and materials are in stock.
  • Complete all assigned work orders and record hours and materials used.
  • Report immediately any issue concerning vehicle performances for immediate action.
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections as required and maintain records.
  • Ensure all records of vehicle repairs and maintenance are kept in the prescribed order.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns as required.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Automotive electrical/mechanics from recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years experience as a mechanic in a busy organization/institution.
  • Be ready to work for long hours and under pressure.
  • Sound automotive electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Knowledge on how to repair wide range of vehicles.
  • Problem solving and decision making skills.

We are seeking suitable persons to fill the following key positions.
The successful candidates must have the appropriate technical competencies and willingness to travel to field locations.

Positions:
1) Social Mobilization / Communications Officer ( Ref.2014/04)
2) Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Ref.2014/05)

-The two Regional Technical Officers will report directly to CORE Group Polio Project (CGPP) Head Quarters with necessary logistical support from a designated partner NGO in Nairobi, Kenya.

Purpose: To provide critical technical support to the ongoing regional polio outbreak.
-The Officers will contribute to regional planning, monitoring and evaluation, and the creation, adaptation, and dissemination of M&E and social mobilization materials for use by NGOs, PVOs, ministries of health, UN agencies, and others active in polio eradication in the region.
-The Officers will represent the CGPP at regional meetings, forums, and planning discussions giving voice to the NGO/PVO and community perspective

Desired Qualifications:

  • MPH or other health degree with a strong background in statistical measurement.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in program evaluation, survey implementation, and monitoring.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in international health program implementation and management with a focus on social mobilization and communications.
  • Experience and knowledge of the global polio eradication initiative.
  • Experience working in Africa.
  • Experience working with NGOs, UN agencies and government health officials.
  • Proficiency in regional languages would be an asset.
  • Strong writing and reporting skills in English.
  • Good stewardship of resources and ability to serve with integrity.
  • Ability to manage stress and complexity and cultivate constructive relationships.

Lutheran World Federation Accountability and Quality Assurance Officer Job in Kenya
Lutheran World Federation / Department for World Service Kenya-Djibouti Programme is seeking to recruit a Kenyan national for the following position to be based in Dadaab Refugee Camp.

Duties and responsibilities will include among others:-
-Identifying accountability gaps within the organization and developing innovative ways of addressing these gaps in line with the Humanitarian
-Accountability Partnership (HAP) Principles and standards and other existing international standards in emergencies.
-Developing procedures and operating plans of mainstreaming Accountability principles and standards within the organization and building the capacity of project staff and beneficiaries on the same
-Providing intensive technical support to the project staff in mainstreaming accountability principles and standards within the project cycle and project activities
-Designing workable and comprehensive tools for monitoring accountability with focus to the beneficiaries.
-Redesigning and or strengthening Accountability structures such as the Complaints and Response System
Maintaining a complaints database and manage the complaints referral system, in close collaboration with the Focal Person(s) and management
-Providing monthly reports on trends, lessons learnt and success stories as far as accountability is concerned and documenting feedback from focus groups to be uploaded into the LWF Website for purposes of communicating and documenting LWF/DWS accountability efforts and results
-Assess the extent of attainments of the intended objectives, outcomes, outputs and activities as per Log frames,
-Generate findings on opportunities, constraints and lessons learnt during the implementation of the Project.
-Reviewing the existing LWF/ DWS policies, procedures,guidelines including the M&E
-System to ensure consistency with and adherence to accountability standards and making recommendations for change whenever necessary
-Ensuring that all staffs have and understand all of LWF/ DWS and ACT Alliance Policies, guidelines and Action plans
-Any additional duties as deemed necessary by the Project Area Coordinator

Required Skills, Qualifications and experience
-Advanced University degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or Human Rights Law
-At least 3 years humanitarian program experience preferably with displaced persons
-Understanding of HAP and RBA Approach to humanitarian/Development Programming will be an added advantage
-Experience in policy development, implementation and review
-Experience in designing and facilitating trainings and in capacity building
-Data analysis skills (qualitative and quantitative)
-Strong inter-cultural and interpersonal skills
